Quality Engineer
Job Title: Quality Engineer
Department: Admin
Reports to: Quality Manager
FLSA Status: Exempt
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintain a positive work atmosphere by behaving and communicating in a matter that is consistent with customers, clients, co-workers, supervisors, managers and all other employees’ expectations
- Assisting in certification, adherence and maintenance of IATF 16949 processes, procedures and requirements
- Specific process duties of the Q.C. Engineer are:
- Resource Management
- Provision of resources
- Infrastructure
- Work Environment
- Product Realization
- Planning of product realization
- Customer-related processes
- Purchasing
- Production and service provision
- Control of monitoring and measuring devices
- Sufficient knowledge of performance testing (e.g. Flammability, MVTR, etc.)
- Monitoring and Measurement
- Internal audit
- Monitoring and measurement of processes
- Monitoring and measurement of product
- Control of nonconforming product
- Corrective and preventive action
- Support the Quality Management System’s document and data control processes, operating procedures, work instructions and forms, which apply to operations
- Support, either directly or indirectly, personnel activities related to product quality verification and validation
